Fall Newsletter – 2014

Dear Boaters,

Once again the summer season is drawing to an end. We would like to thank everyone who made this season so successful. We enjoyed the beautiful summer weather and hope that you did as well.

We have posted PDF forms for Winter Storage and for Winterizing on our website. Please click here to view, download or print our Winter Lease Agreement. If you have previously had a winter storage contract with the marina, it is not necessary to complete the Winter Storage form. We will generate your contract electronically and send it to you when you call to book your haul-out appointment.

Remember that if you haul early in the fall you may not be able to launch early in the spring. Subsequently, if you haul late, you will be launching early. If you are holding up others in the spring and we need to move your boat, you will be charged a relocation fee of $7.00/ft.

Haul-out appointments are available Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. To book your haul-out or if you have any questions, please call the marina office at 416-203-1055. Please remember that pump-outs must be done ahead of haul-out dates. Mast unstepping appointments must be made with the shop prior to your haul-out day. You can reach the shop by calling 416-203-1048.

You may submit your Winter Forms via email marina@localhost, fax 416-203-1062, mail or drop them off in person at the marina office. To send winterizing forms directly to the shop, fax 416-203-6241 or drop them off. Remember that all winter storage fees must be paid prior to haul-out. Please note online E-Transfers are accepted, please email them to krystyna@localhost

The winterizing forms are now posted online and copies are also available in the main office. Make sure to get your forms in early to avoid any last minute panic as the weather takes a turn for the worst. We are ready to meet your winterizing and service needs.

Please ensure that all of your belongings are packed away with your boat (except for locked dock boxes and BBQ’s). We will not be responsible for items left behind on marina grounds. If you plan on leaving any bicycles at the marina over the winter they must have bike tags affixed to them. Drop by the office to pick one up.

The TIM advisory committee will be holding a final meeting with marina management on Wednesday October 1st at 5:45 pm in the Snack Bar. The marina will be there to share plans for the upcoming season and get input on what is most important to the boaters for 2014. All are welcome so come out and be part of the process.

There are still nights to enjoy at the Marina!!!

Silly Hat night will be held this Saturday, September 27th on the Upper Deck. Get out your most outrageous head attire and show it off. Prizes will be awarded so come out and enjoy.

We will be having Thanksgiving Dinner in the restaurant on Saturday October 11th at 4pm. Join us for turkey and all the fixings.

This year’s Hanger’s On Potluck Party will be held Saturday October 25th at 5pm at the Upper Deck.

Thank you for your support and we wish you a safe and happy off-season.

Your TIM Team
