Summer never ends at Toronto Island Marina. We keep the vibe alive any way we can. This weekend we are keeping the party going with more live entertainment on the Upper Deck. Friday Night we have the final Open Mic Night of the season. Some new acts will be trying to impress so don’t miss that. Saturday Night we have a big show from The Mercenaries!!! Back to get you dancing and keep that summer feeling going.
Next Saturday we will have our last live Band of the season with Stark Naked and the Flesh Tones. A marina favorite that never lets you down. Come out and enjoy the music.
The Bar and Kitchen will continue to operate through the fall with reduced hours as the season winds down. Full hours of operation will be posted so you can continue to eat and drink with the best views of the city. They only get better as the leaves start to fall.
OIL CHANGE WEEK – September 16th to 20th
It is time to start thinking about getting your boat ready for the inevitable.
We will be doing Oil Change Week September 16th-20th. Sign up now by contacting Marylou at 416 203 1048 or by email Mary@torontoislandmarina.com. It is important to put your boat engine to bed for winter with clean oil so book now so it can be done in water. Oil changes can not be done once your boat is on land.
The haul out schedule will be ready in the next week and requests can be submitted by email, calling the front office at 416 203 1055 or just dropping in to chat. As always, early out means later launch but this gives you a chance to do work on the boat so you are ready for the real season to begin. Don’t leave haul out too late or the cold will bite.
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that personal items need to be cleared from land to make room cradle staging and later for boat and dock storage. With space at a premium we require all furniture, bikes and other items to be moved to areas not used for storage. To confirm locations to store items for winter, please check in with the front office.
We also require all dock boxes to be labeled with owner and boat names. This will allow us to remove all old and abandoned dock boxes the are taking up space. Please ensure this is done by the end of September as clear out time will begin in October. We will also be starting to move cradles around soon so make sure all bikes and other items are not locked to cradles as locks may be cut if access is required.
We look forward to seeing everyone on the island enjoying the remainder of summer and look forward to a calm and warm fall.
